The institute of hydraulic engineering and water resources management (research unit hydraulic engineering) is located in the main building of the Technical University of Vienna at Karlsplatz, 1040 Vienna.

Besides there is the hydraulic laboratory in Lilienthalgasse 21, 1030 Vienna.
